1.2. What are our inspirations to hold K-Hair charity events in Nigeria?

Derived from our business whose 80% of the customers are from Nigeria, K-Hair charity is established as a bridge to send our support to Nigeria. Each day having the chance to work with Nigerian customers, we know that people here are so lovely and gentle. That is the inspiration for us to learn more about Nigeria and know that this is a beautiful country, but sadly there are still so many people in difficulties. This urges us to do something to spread our love and respect to our “second motherland”.

As a result, K-Hair annual charity was established. With the most enthusiastic staff, we hope to plan every event carefully and bring the best to our beloved Nigerian friends.

2. K-Hair charity event on December 12 in Onitsha, Nigeria

On December 12, K-Hair successfully held the charity event to send gifts to the children in The Red Cross Motherless Babies Home. This is both our happiness and pride.

2.1. The Red Cross Motherless Babies Home – Destination of K-Hair charity event

The Red Cross Motherless Babies Home Onitsha is a non-profit organization that belongs to the Nigerian Red Cross Society. This organization has been carrying out the lofty mission of taking care of motherless babies for years. With the enthusiastic staff and generous help from the society, it builds the true home for unfortunate children. It is an honor for K-Hair charity to take part in the mission this year.

2.2. Activities in K-Hair charity event

With the help of the representative manager for K-Hair in Nigeria Mr. Nnadirinwa Chibuike Gideon and many other enthusiastic staff, our charity event came to a success. We offered basic necessities to the children with the hope that they can have a merry Christmas this year. Despite any difficulties in delivery and weather, we are still so happy to have done a great job. The happiness of the children is our huge motivation.

To make sure that the children will have a little Merry Christmas, in addition to life necessities such as washing liquid, toilet-paper, babies soap, toothpaste, rice, fruits, water, etc, we also brang 100 gift bags for the children. Each bag consists of food and drink like sweet, milk, chocolate and biscuits, etc. We hope that the children will have a happy party together.

2.3. K-Hair charity event was broadcasted by the Nigerian Television Authority

In addition to the help from all staff, K-Hair charity event also received support from the Nigerian Television Authority NTA. K-Hair is proud to be the first Vietnamese company to be interviewed and broadcasted by the biggest television station in Nigeria. This is not only the opportunity for K-Hair to spread the humanitarian spirit but also the chance to encourage more support for the children. We are really happy and proud to receive this honor.

3. The echo of K-Hair charity event

Though the charity event ended, we are still so happy whenever looking back at the memorable pictures of the activity. In addition, it is our honor to be recognized by the Nigerian government when receiving the certificate from the Nigerian Red Cross Society and being broadcasted on the official NTA TV Channel.

We hope that these recognitions will partly help spread the charity spirit among all of us and encourage more meaningful charity given to beloved Nigerians in need.
